Spring Poem

SPRING
Calm Day,
Walk outside,
Flowers blooming,
Raindrops bouncing off the windows,
Feet squishing on the muddy surface below me,
I feel the cold raindrops dropping down my face
SPRING

What I'm Doing Over Spring Break

Over Spring Break I'm going to the Grand Canyon! I can't wait. But one thing that I'm worried about is that I'm a little scared of heights. So I'll see how I do looking over the edge. I 'm flying into Las Vegas and taking a train into the Grand Canyon. I've never ridden a on a train except for at the zoo. I can't wait to go there.

Favorite Winter Olympic Sport Matt Clark
My favorite winter Olympic sport is the speed skating because they make it look so easy. I would like to know how to speed skate one day. My favorite person who does the sport is probably Apollo Anton Ohno. He is the best at the sport. And is tied for the most medals in the winter Olympics with Bonnie Blair. I can’t wait to see him skate again.

Street Wise

This story Street Wise is a story about a guy who is living on the streets and is fighting for his life. This story shows that people on the streets aren't that much different than you and me. They just hit a bump in the road along the way. This story made me appreciate what I have and makes me feel bad for those people who have to live like that. No one should have to live through that. No food no shelter in less your lucky enough to get a shelter to sleep in. Even then all you here is yelling and screaming all night. No showers barely a change of clothes. It's torture.
